The main motives for the founding of the PIA ANTONIA boutique group were discontent and anger.
Mira Dworschak, who was working as a film editor and advertising agency manager in 1995, regularly encountered smug saleswomen and found terrible collections during her search for fashionable clothes starting at size 42.
After intensive research of the market chances and the brand range, Mira Dworschak opened the first PIA ANTONIA boutique in Salzburg in 1995. These days, the group offers 7 locations: Vienna, Linz, Salzburg (2x), Innsbruck, Graz, Klagenfurt.
PIA ANTONIA – brand fashion starting at size 42 – represents all the important international top brands in the large size segment – from Marina Rinaldi to Wille and Sallie Sahne to Yoek (see list of brands on the right).
DWORSCHAK & PARTNER is a company which reflects the unusual careers of its founders.
Mira Dworschak originally worked as a movie editor (with textile education) before she founded the PIA ANTONIA boutique group – brand fashion starting at size 42 – which she still heads.
Dietmar Dworschak, trained journalist (print media, ORF) manages his own advertising agency as well as the ANWALT AKTUELL trade magazine and the ra-kanzleimarketing and jurcoach consulting units.
The film production company they both founded in 1986 has developed into a medium-sized family business with about 30 employees for fashion retailing, marketing consultation/ coaching and print magazine production. Success through niche strategy.
